"Stardust(TM) represent a whole new generation of gel ink," states Peter Ouyang, Sakura of America Product Development Director. "Consumers will love the sparkle effect and bold line of this pen, on white paper especially." He also adds.

Stardust(TM) pens are available in twelve new colors: Blue-Star, Copper-Star, Golden-Star, Green-Star, Lime-Star, Marine-Star, Pink-Star, Purple-Star, Red-Star, Rose-Star, Silver-Star, Sky-Star.

Stardust(TM) pens come in blisterpack assortments of four and six pens and are also available individually. Blisterpacks also include a holographic sticker that can be applied to binders, notebooks, and bookcovers.

"These pens are ideal for creating invitations, enhancing scrapbooks, or creating artwork all on their own," says illustrator Sharon Silver. "Working at a decorative sticker company gives me a unique perspective, " Silver continues, "Besides scrapbookers, I see teenagers going crazy for these new pens with their sparkling dust and bold line."

Stardust(TM) pens lay down a 0.5mm line width with a writing length of approximately 150 meters. Like the other pens in the Gelly Roll pen family, Stardust(TM) pens contain water-based, pigment gel ink, and are non-toxic.

With Stardust(TM) as the most recent in a long line of Gelly Roll pens, Sakura originated gel ink technology beginning in 1984. The first five colors of Gelly Roll pens were introduced worldwide in 1987 exploding into the 52 currently available colors.
